Academic study of two male nudes. Left nude shown from left side-rear, kneeling with his right leg bent, right hand on chin, elbow resting on knee. Right nude in 3/4 front view, only the torso fully executed. Torso inclined to the left ramming a broached spear into the ground.

This undated drawing is from a portfolio from the time Adams studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna Schillerplatz (1892-1896). Dating 1894/95 from comparison with other drawings of the portfolio and a numbering on the back.
