The earliest surviving landscape painting by Adams, from his student days at the Academy. Probably done in the Tyrolean Alps (cf. watercolor Ötztal from 1894). The farmhouse and foreground are detailed watercolor pen-and-ink drawings. Picture background in classical watercolor technique. Only signature of Adams with "Dürer A".
