This child portrait, which was sold at auction in England in 2024, depicts an unidentified girl of around 6 years of age, likely from upper middle-class Viennese circles. There is no information on the paintings provenance. Only a sticker from the Viennese company Kunsttrans on the back of the painting indicates that the painting probably came from Vienna to England in the 1980s after purchase or from a private collection, to where the painting has now returned again.
